Three Remain Unbeaten in Men's Ball

With the season getting closer and closer to its end, and the start of the tournament, only three teams remain unbeaten in men's basketball. Arizona, Syracuse, and Wichita State are the three. Only two have one loss.

It has been an interesting past week. Iowa State, who many thought could play with anyone in the nation, suffered three straight losses to end their undefeated season. Ever since the big win against Baylor at home, they haven't looked the same. They've been missing some of their spark, and really just energy. It will be interesting to see if they can end this losing streak, and get back on track.

Villanova, currently ranked fourth, was looking to take care of Creighton at home. But they did not expect what they got. The Blue Jays came out swinging, they started the game with 10 straight three pointers and never looked back. This dominant win over a top-ranked opponent definitely puts them in the spotlight, and gives their team the opportunity to get some recognition as a team to beat. For Villanova, it is hard to beat a team who makes 21 three pointers, so the real task for them is to just forget that game and move on.

In Big Ten action, Wisconsin dropped to straight to Indiana, and then an emerging Michigan team. Michigan defeated the #3 ranked Badgers, and then beat the #10 Iowa Hawkeyes, now they face the #3 Michigan State Spartans, to see if they can revive their season, and get three straight wins over top-ranked opponents. While the Spartans look to stay strong, and keep one blemish on the schedule. Both Michigan and Michigan State are unbeaten in the Big 10.

There are currently six ranked Big 12 teams, five ranked Big 10 teams, and three AAC and ACC teams. Most experts say that the Big 10 is the best conference this year, but it is safe to say that both the Big 10 and 12 are very strong. Do not be surprised if you see the two teams in the Final Four Championship be from these two conferences. Whether it is Big 10 vs. Big 12 or two teams from the same conference playing each other. the top teams from both of these conferences will definitely be there on the biggest stage.
